Moog Minotaur

With Moog's Minotaur, you don't have to traverse a labyrinth to create analog bass sounds of mythical proportions. The Moog Minitaur is a fully analog monophonic synthesizer, the successor of the old bass synthesizer Taurus. Moog now omited the bulky pedal keyboard and the Minitaur is a small desktop synthesizer with a huge sound, especially in the bass range.

Maxi-Korg 800DV

The Korg Maxi-Korg 800DV synthesizer was released in 1974 and offered a more powerful synthesizer than previously available from the company. Along with Korg's VCF ie. proprietary Traveler Filter section there was was now an envelope section, amplifier section, and a 44 key keyboard plus more controls for programming sounds and real time modulation, as well as a ring modulator circuit.

Novation Bass Station

The Bass Station is an incredible little synth that was an instant success when released. Casio CZ-101

Casio's phase distortion synthesis technique was championed by Casio engineer Mark Fukuda and evolved from the Cosmo Synth System that was custom-developed for legendary synthesist-composer Isao Tomita. Make no mistake, the CZ-101 is no toy although it can be considered very entry level.Released in November 1984, its most prolific users were Cirrus, Moby, Jimi Tenor, Vince Clarke, Jimmy Edgar, and They Might Be Giants.

Yamaha CS-15

Years of production: 1979-1982 .The CS-15’s strengths are fat but subtle bass, funky leads and an ability to slot nicely into mixes (a crucial but often overlooked factor when judging the real world practicality of a synth). Akai MFC42

The MFC42 is a true analog filter module designed by Akai for their MPC-series gear. However, you can use it to process any sound source since it has basic 1/4" inputs and outputs and MIDI! It has genuine analog filters for that warmer tone with Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, and Notch filter types. It consists of a MONO filter section and STEREO filter section. The MONO section offers 2-, 4-, and 8-pole filter slopes. The STEREO section offers 2- and 4-pole filter slopes.
